Vincent - The Cabaret” tells the tragic story of the painter, Vincent Van Gogh and his lovers. It recounts the life of a complex man with a ruthless drive to create and a deep-seated desire to love and be loved. The story is moved forward by reimagined versions of various pop, rock and musical theatre songs. This show is written and directed by Amanda Bothma and stars Daniel Anderson, accompanied by Germaine Gamiet on the piano. “Vincent” has recently returned from the National Arts Festival, where it won a Bronze Standard Bank Ovation Award.
