Rules and Regulations

LEVELS

Novice : Dancers who have not competed in a dance competition before. Dancers that train once per week as a recreational activity and want to experience performing and competing in a healthy, nurturing and encouraging way.

Amateur : Dancers who have performed and competed in national and international dance competitions. Dancers who train more than twice a week, and/or train at a vocational level.

Professional : Dancers who are currently performing for a dance company or in professional productions (theatre, corporate, etc.).

These dancers are paid for their performances or are teaching dance as a profession.

Pro Am : Teachers and students competing with and/or against each other.

Handicap : Dancers who have speech and/or hearing impairments.

Dancers who have physical ailments.

Dancers who have mental disorders.

Tiny Tots : Age 3 - 7

Juvenal : Age 8 - 12

Junior : Age 13 -16

Senior : Age 17 - 20

Adult : Age 21 Up

The piece of music needs to be titled "Name of competitor-level-age
category-competitor category

Music limits are to be adhered to, any piece of music that exceeds the
time limit will not be accepted.

Time Limits:

Solo - 1 minute

Duet - 1 minute

Trio - 1.30 minutes

Group - 2 minutes

Crew - 2.5 minutes

Moms - 1 minute

Dads - 1 minute

Family - 1.30 minutes

Pro Am - 1.30 minutes

Teacher - 1.30 minutes
